The Taiwan Textile Fairs have been a successful series of textile fairs in India for over a decade and this year are expanding into Sri Lanka. Organised by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the Bureau of Foreign Trade and represented by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt. Ltd., this annual event is important to textile and garment manufacturers, importers, exporters, buyers, merchandisers and retailers across India and Sri Lanka for their sourcing requirements.

As some of the largest textile exporters in the world, India and South Asia have long recognized the creativity and functionality of Taiwanese textile products whose products are in perfect synergy with exporters increasing requirements for world-class fabrics, yarns and trimmings.

With India's domestic apparel market growing at 10% per annum, semi-urban and rural Indian markets growing faster than expected and urban consumers increasingly seeking branded and lifestyle products, the market is set to grow like never before. This kind of growth needs the momentum supplied by cutting edge products and that is exactly what the Taiwan Trade Fair brings to India and Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka's apparel exports are booming with its 900 factories contributing to 43% of total exports. This makes the manufacturing of textiles and clothing products one of the biggest industries in Sri Lanka.
